Course Description
In this course, participants will benefit from learning about the unique nourishments that promote the optimal development of their Autistic teens. The Natural Learning Relationship approach will be explained, including a look at the crucial four stages of development and why participants need to know about them in order to understand their child's developmental needs. In addition, awareness will be brought to the challenges of talking with Autistic teens, and how participants can best communicate in ways that will be heard.
Common problems faced by parents and caregivers of Autistic teens will be addressed throughout the course. These include: how Autistic teens differ from non-Autistic teens and why it matters; the number one most important thing your Autistic teen wants you to know but can't tell you; and why parenting an Autistic teen can be the most rewarding experience of your life, even when fraught with difficulties. Join us for this eight-week, life-changing course!
